Garmin 296/396 GPS mount. I recently upgraded to the Garmin Aera and no longer need the 396 mount.

It is a custom mount that goes on top center of the Ercoupe 415C panel beneath the windshield brace. It attaches with Velcro with additional support by wire tie to the center brace. My name is Anthony W. Montague EOC member number 9081, I am a US solder, US Cavalry to be exact stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina. I have only recently moved here from Fairbanks Alaska where I completed my pilots license and flew my instructors Ercoupe. This is where the love affair began. Not with the instructor, he was not very attractive. He agreed to sell me one of his project Ercoupes but backed out only after I got it running and he found out that it was in better shape and a better aircraft than he realized. Needless to say he "did me wrong". Despite this drawback, I still very much appreciate the airplane. I have an autobiographical book co-written by Mr. Weick and a James R. Hansen, another entitled "The Ercoupe" by Stanley G. Thomas and the best, "The Ercoupe a touch of class by a Mr.Frank Rythenhyde Saletri, Esq. All of these books just reinforce my respect for the aircraft which leads me to the following request. I know that it is nearly impossible but you never know unless you ask. I fix helicopters for the Army and I am trying to pursue the A&P license. What I do with helicopters has very little to do with the A&P exam. Being in the military especially at my rank, leaves me financially challenged at best. What I am hoping for, ultimately, is for you to assist me in placing an add requesting a fuselage, preferably in the E or G model. I don't want to take away one in the LSA category. I don't have much to offer right now money wise so cheap is the key word. I only want a fuselage, no wings, empennage, engine or engine mount, interior or instruments. Just a bare bones fuselage with which I can start. I have contacted Precision Services Inc. but he says he only gets ones that are unserviceable, which is a shame he is only three hours drive away. If you can be or know of someone who can be of assistance to me in this matter please let me know or perhaps place a sorrowful online add.
