For reference, my O200 powered 415E is generally at pattern altitude (1000' AGL) by the end of my crosswind leg. At Nevada County airport, elev 3150'. That's with two medium guys on board.

thanks for the help. today found in the prop log that the prop has been re-pitched to 48.
the rest of the checking is to be done by mechanic hopefully soon. will pass along what he comes up with.
on another note, my instrument panel has been modified over the years with various radios and an intercom
some things working and some not working hung beneath the panel ,and various replacement instruments some
not working in odd places and switches scattered about.
I'm seriously thinking about a new panel rearranging some instruments and some replaced with new , including radios.
with switches centrally located panel.
If I can get advice on how to go about this what not to do and perhaps what to do and even were to purchase
things I would appreciate it.
Also the interior is comprised of left over carpet samples and would like to replace that.

This is off topic a bit, but I took digital photos of my logs pre purchase, and it has been super handy to have them in this form. Maybe you can access them and do likewise. Ercoupes are great little planes, so once you get the climb issue solved, you'll be fine.

Thanks two both answers. I believe I saw in log books something about the prop being repitched. Unfortunately the log books are being held in FBO
in PT Clinton Ohio and I will not be able to get there until the middle of the week. I will try to talk to mechanic at this time and hopefully check
the static rpm. I intend to keep my plane closer to home at Lorain County Ohio but the transponder needs some work before I can move it there.
Hopefully I can get this resolved as I really wanted an Ercoupe but can't help be disappointed.
My Ercoupe will be flown as a light sport and the engine is 85hp. The weight is still 1260lbs, was supposed to have paperwork to upgrade to 1320lbs
but haven't found it yet.
