Hi Warren,  nothing has changed yet. I am still working on the paperwork side of things. I agree it should have been a simple process of a 337 and WB. Years ago it would have been but the feds don't do much field approval now.
I finally talked enough about it withimy local rep and he is walking the whole thing through now. So should have a final answer within a couple months.

What has been happening? I find this type of thing and ongoing type of problem. And people not letting us know the outcome.

when they installed the C90 in my G model, it was a single line item on the 337 for rebuilding the plane, If it registared as a D model, then you should be able to show to the FAA that it is on the same TCDS that has that engine installed in later models.

I have gone through the process of having cases reline bored before, As for installing the -16F with a 337 my local FSDO will NOT do a field approval with out me coming up with some already approved install of a -16F. I even tried showing them that a -16F is the same case used for the O-200 and there is and STC for but no go.

Cases don't mix w/o being reworked to be sure no miss a lineament. Only diff between 12F and 16F is the vacuums pump and a few pounds. so, a 337 and new Weight and Bal should fix you up...

I have a C90-16F that I am looking to install in a 415D, currently have a C90-12F installed with a bad case. Or need a good half case for a c90-12f
