Mine does not drip. When I first got it, it would have a pretty good trickle if I forgot to close the gas valve.
But with a new needle and well lapped seat, no issues anymore. No matter how long I leave the valve open.

I recently had an A/P IA tell me if it is repaired correctly it will not drip. Anyone have a Stromberg that does not drip?

Just backing up what Kevin said. It's SOP to shut off the header fuel valve when you shut down the engine. I will quickly get a noticeable drip if I do not. Just the nature of the beast (Stromberg) I guess.

Do you have a Stromberg or marvel carb. If it is a Stromberg you will always need to turn the fuel off. Even after overhaul it drip.
