Thanks for all the good info. Got a deal on a golf cart with ball attached on the front..Currently having an Ercoupe tow bar modifed..a couple other pilots have this set up and seems to work. Besides, I have always wanted a golf cart. Not being a golfer I had no reason for one, now I do!!!!!

Check Redline Aviation Sidewinder. Don't know if they make one specifically for Ercoupe but a C150 one would probably work.

Unfortunately I cannot remember who makes it, but there is a pretty nice one that is powered by a 5/8 inch electric drill. Since it's a reversible drill, it goes both ways.
I just push mine in and pull it out but I have an almost perfectly level entry to the hangar and only a 1/2 inch lip to push it over.

Several months ago another guy asked the same question here and we have been collaborating about using an old, old Robotow electric one that I used on my Bonanza.
We both are making mods with different approaches - he is considering an article for the paper to help guys like yourself. I'll let him identify himself.
I think we both have proven our separate mods - but mine will require the handle to be bent, unless one is a midget - a friend plans to do this for me but must complete a medical procedure - in the meantime I'm still able to hangar by myself.
I looked today at an older EZ 40 gas powered I have and I think it can be adapted to work - I prefer the electric with long extension cord - gas is ok - if one has the engine tweaked just right for reliable starts.
