I stand corrected the TCDS is the standard. The knowledge base here is so impressive. I always enjoy the read. I always learn something new. When I started flying over 50 years ago an IP told me: "The day you don't learn something, is the day you should quit flying!". Thank you for the info.

The part numbers are 40487L, 40487R and 40488 and yes these are applicable to all C85 engines but not required on all C85 engines. The parts book is a list of applicable parts not a list of required equipment. The TSDS is and it only requires those baffles with the Beech prop.

The Ercoupe Parts Manual calls for 3 baffles each with it's own part number. All models with C-85 engines. I will dig out the part numbers and post them.

The extra baffles are only required with the Beech controllable prop.

A couple of engine baffles also need to be added.
