Bust Out Of Winter Fly-in at 7M2
Plans are being made for the Mountain View Bust Out Of Winter Fly-In at Wilcox Field (7M2) in Mountain View, Arkansas, May 29-31.
Lodging has been arranged in a block of rooms at the Cabins at Dry Creek, at the Ozark Folk Center State Park, and rooms are $85 for a regular room (they are duplex rooms, two per structure) and $105 for a suite.
To book a room, call 870-269-3851 and press option 2. you must tell them you are part of group #105571 - it should be known as "Annual Fly In" even though it's not actually annual!
Current schedule:
Friday, May 29 – Arrivals and Randy Feldpouch Memorial Pizza and Home-Made Ice Cream Social at the airport at 6 pm, then travel to the square for music and even more ice cream!
Saturday, May 30 – Full breakfast at the airport provided by the Mountain View Airport Commission, starting at 8 am. Fly-Out to Heber Springs leaving at 10 am to tour the Toy Train Museum and have lunch at a spot TBD. Afternoon seminar, followed by dinner at Angler’s Restaurant in Mountain View, on the banks of the White River.
Sunday, May 31 – Home-Made cinnamon rolls and coffee and juice at the airport. Departures, or hang around and enjoy town some more!
The registration fee for the event is $35 – that covers the Friday evening social, the Saturday breakfast and dinner and Sunday morning continental breakfast. Such a deal!

Camping is available on the airfield at the Wausau Downtown Airport
Tent camping in the grass behind the private hangars, bring tie-downs. Showers are available for campers at the FBO. Of note, the airport offers alcohol free, unleaded gas for those with that STC (That STC is available from the EAA and Peterson Aviation)
Motor home parking only on the hard surface but, with no hookups, is also available on the airfield

2022 - Bust Out Of Winter Fly-in at 7M2
