Vern and I were just talking about the fuel pumps this passed week and the FAA, STCs and 337s..and how we used to be able to use one 337 to get another. Now we have to buy STCs. You ever feel used?

Thanks John.

Alpha (Don, I assume the owner) did offer to share data but we did not speak details. I would talk with my local FAA, to see if they would entertain it if I get more serious.

Just wanted to share why some Alpha STCs include the M10, and others do not.

Since the M10 is not included on the STC but is on the same TCDS with the other 'coupes you might be able to use the STC as acceptable data for a 337 field approval.

M10 Owners-
Recently, I saw an announcement that Alpha Aviation has a less than $600 electronic fuel transfer pump STC for  Ercoupes/Forneys/AIrcoupes.  I called the company and asked why not M10s too.  The short answer was they could not get a direct/correct cross reference on M10 part numbers.  Also cited was a difference in our gascolator, and I assume in reference to an A2.   In the discussion, it was apparent the M10 fleet size does not push the business case. Too bad, especially on this fuel pump kit and the O200 conversion as C90 parts become more scarce.
