Tie down eye bolts Alon A-2

Indeed. Mooney apparently changed all the part numbers to their own system. Alon used a lot of the original 415-xxxx and F-xxxx part numbers but have some proprietary Axxxx numbers. In many cases the Forney "F" part numbers seem to have just dropped the 415 prefix. A lot of the parts will interchange between models it seems, and the prices can vary as well, sometimes Mooney is higher, sometimes less.

Thanks. Love the confusing labeling of the parts some times. Here is entertainment I punched that part number into Univair and it came up with two options. $12 for the Ercoupe eye bolt with that part number. $20 for a Mooney eye bolt of a different part number that in description says alternate Mooney part number is the $12 Ercoupe part number……….

My Alon parts manual lists part number 415-14044 as the proper one for all three positions. That shows up on the Univair site.

Can anyone confirm compatibility. Univair  only lists the eyebolt for Mooney M-10.  Are the wings between A-2 and A-10 identical?   I don’t have any tie downs on my wings at all and sure would like to tie her down when I travel away from home hanger!!!

I won’t be home to see my reference manual for a bit and want to order some.  Oshkosh is coming!!!!
