We did it with a log entry, since it's an exhaust that is used on future models. My mechanic was very tight with the FSDO and told me that would be fine. I would not consider it a major modification since in its completed state it's just like a production plane (Alon)..

Some folks may argue that. I've had my plane gone over by the FAA after an incident and no mention of the exhaust.

Hello Ercoupe Folks
I have an Ercoupe 415C that was converted to the Alon exhaust. Does anyone know of someone who has a 337 concerning the exhaust conversion for the 415C? I located a 337 for a 415D but FAA did not wish to accept.
Feel free to text directly at: 321.287.1399 If you have any information of who might have knowledge of the 337 for a 415C or CD (Steve)
