Your problem is you cannot get it all out. It may look better but the deep crease will remain. Be careful with dry ice it will burn the skin if you let it.

you are trying to shrink the metal to get the dent to pop out, it won't get it cold enough to change the metal.

Wow! That is not a reply I expected - dry ice.
I will have to ask you some more questions on this one. I would think dry ice would make the metal brittle or something.

pack it in dry ice then try to massage it out. crush dry ice and use a rag to hold it in place, taping the rag to the tank.. I have done this with wing leading edges and stabilators

Good Morning,
I finally got this starboard tank on and until now never noticed this ding on the leading edge 
Two questions: Can it easily be punched back out and / or should I even worry about it? I am not very concerned about the looks, just safety.
I am hoping the tank does not need to be taken apart just to correct this...
