A month old thread... but if you are still looking for plugs I recommend the Tempest BY plugs. You will have less fouling with this 'new' 50 year old design that was recently made available to us by Tempest.

Spark Plug Choices for C-90 12-F engine was created by Thomas Vorpe
Greetings All,
I am changing out my ignition leads and was hoping to use my current plugs which are in fine shape, however No one makes leads for the SL mags to mate to a plug with a 3/4 Barrel nut. So now I am hunting new plugs with the 5/8 barrel nut. I’ve looked in so many places for spark plugs approved for that engine and sometimes they list about 5 different part numbers from each manufacturer for the same engine. Not sure where I can find the last word on what spark plug should be in my engine. Even in the TCM type data specifications they have multiples of the same plug listed. Any help in any direction would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tom
