Well, you have the "Swiss Cheese" holes in the outer wings and the belly inspection ports, don't you?

By the way, those holes let the bad air get in. Do some corrosion protection at each inspection. If nothing else, get some ACF-50 or Alumaslick and coat vulnerable areas.

Corrosion is a scary issue now that these coupes are 73 years old and corrosion is hidden sometimes! Other than pulling the wings off and looking close, is there A FOR SURE WAY of making sure no corrosion is hiding and that the rivets are not popping loose from corrosion. Bore-scope is good but is there anyway better to confirm that the wing joiner isn't corroded?
