The form is application for airworthiness, 8130-6 www.faa.gov/documentLibrary/media/Form/FAA_Form_8130-6.pdf,
You also must have a logbook entry stating that the plane has been inspected and that all REQUIRED ADs have been complied with.
While a AD may be due, if you read the AD they will have a statement saying the plane may be flown to a location to perform the AD. If that statement is missing, the AD must be done before a permit can be issued,

The owner must get the ferry permit and the form is online at the FAA web site. I can't remember the address, but you can apply for and receive the ferry permit online and all you have to do is print it out and have it with you when making the flight.

Ferry Permit was created by Jim Piche
I have purchased a 415C, the last annual was 1/11/17. The plane has been flow during that time to the present and has been hangared during this time period. What will be necessary to get the ferry permit approved by the FAA?
