assembling your own hoses is easy, however, do not attempt to assemble it without using the mandrel, if you do, you run the chance of rubber being cut from inside the hose and clogging up something important.

I have had good success with these folks for owner produced parts www.aircraftspecialty.com/ or you could try a local brake or hydralic shop if you don't want to DIY

I will probably also make my own. Seems straight forward after watching a You Tube video from Aviation Tools Training.

I had this same issue. Brake hoses are sold by aircraft make and part number, and nobody lists anything for the Ercoupe. I finally had to buy a mandrel, the hose and fittings and make my own. It was fairly easy, once I figured out that the fittings screw onto the hose counter clockwise..

I have the Matco master cylinder that replaced the original Scott. I need to replace the pressure hose that needs to be 6 inches in length to meet the hard metal line.
Vern / Skyport apparently only has the original 8 inch hose that mated to the original Scott master cylinder. ( Univair only sells the hose by the inch to make your own)
Has anyone found a 6 inch hose with the right connectors or does it need to be custom made?
Thanks for any advice
