Hello Henry! You suggest 100LL and TCP. That's what I was thinking for my C85 also. But, the A&P/IA who has maintained my Coupe before I bought it said no. I'm torn, especially since I can't lean it but very very little.
I'd be interested in hearing what other folks (especially A&Ps) say about it?

100LL AND TCP. Avgas is less apt to vapor lock.

The group at my airport are split down the middle. Half swears by no ethanol 87 to 91 octane. Half swears by 100LL avgas. For a 85 hp continental, what is the general opinion of the EOC?
