Instrument Panel Glare Shield

I’m interested in the same. I’ve thought about fabricating one that goes from 4” in the center to essentially 0 at the sides. I’m thinking of aluminum covered in thin batting and vinyl. REMOVABLE of course so not to require any elaborate approvals or AP/AI sign off 

I'm doing a complete instrument panel replacement on my 415-C.  Does anyone make an extended glare shield mounted above the instrument panel which projects out 3-7 inches to reduce glare on the instrument panel?  Has anyone fabricated such a shield?
