I know at least one of my tanks has been sloushed and they are both placarded as 7 gallon tanks... I had never heard of 7 gallon wing tanks... but like you said $$$ seems to be a big elephant in the room... I am just learning and I hate to stop flying.. I was ready to solo this week but had to put it off because of a leaky carb.

Wilco. I’m not going to rush into it. I’ve got time. The question is, since repairing one tank will essentially give me a functionally new one and the old “sloshing” will be removed. So, I should probably also do the other one. Neither were/are planned expenses. That further delays other things I wanted to do.

Hey y’all. I’m going to have to pull my right tank to send off for repairs. It will come back clean and needing paint. I’ve got the EAA Mogas STC and will need a new tank placard. Any ideas where I can get them?
