Hi Larry
The ship had a 7049 which after checking, was a 54 pitch off a Cessna, so now I’m doing okay in takeoff here at 2000 elevation and at 80 degrees I’m estimating around 1200 maybe less at 100 under gross. 1320

Sounds about right to me. Static should be closer to 2200, check the TCDS. I have a 7149 and in cruise I can get close to 2500. But you have an extra inch of pitch. How does it feel? Do takeoffs seem to take too long?

I have a C-85. , new McCauley 7150, 35 hours on engine OVH,
‘static Rpm 2000-2100. Wide open level flight just very 2400 rpm.
seems I should be getting at least 2500. RPM gauge checks okay.

anyone have comparable info? Comments.
