At any Ercoupe gathering nowadays you’ll see a lot of tailBeacons.
I think they’re about $2200 today. You can do the install as long as you have an A&P/IA who will sign it off and do all the paperwork. I think I paid mi e about $250 for the paperwork.
Since you have get the transponder and encoder installed it’s kind of a different situation. You might look at a Stratus ESG or Garmin transponder with ADA-B out.

I found heated hangar space for the Minnesota winter but the airport is inside the Mode C. What's the cheapest way to get the minimum ADSB in my 'Coupe?
My 415-C has a KT76A transponder and TCI encoder but they're not presently installed - came with the plane. Assuming they work, I was hoping to pick up a Skybeacon on Ebay for under $2,000 but it looks as if it must be TSO version, must be installed by an AP, and must be signed off by an IA. Sounds spendy. Who had it done and what did you pay? Is there a cheaper alternative?
Thanks for the help.
