Just did mind. Pulled the wings very easy. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to remove the first wing. Second wing tool 1 hour and 5 minutes. I believe you can do a better inspection with the wings off! I am sorry I put the inspection holes in. The total time to replace the wings was 3 hours.

I actually meant an endoscope as outlined in the AD - surely someone in our network has one stashed away?

I have a 1961 Forney with Metal wings. This is the year I have to have that pesky wing inspection done. The last ones I had to do I had access to the Boroscope method. I am hoping that I can rent or borrow one from someone in the DFW or Wichitia, KS area in conjuction with my annual I will be doing the first week of July. I am not planning on taking the wings off OR putting more holes in,
