Yes it did and sorry I didn't come here since a while so I just saw your post.
The reason was the previous owner didn't rig the plane correctly. Almost everything was aligned wrong. My A&P got through it all and set everything up to the book or so he tried. But then we found out that the plane was flying in a slight yaw all the time and currently back in the shop in his hands for readjusting it. Hopefully it'll be all done before the weekend.
I put an AV30C on my panel and I am happy with the performance of it. Hopefully once rigging done correctly it'll be fun to fly if weather ever allows me to do.
This is the windiest year in the last decade in my neighborhood. Everyday 20+ knots gusting up to almost 30...
Good luck with your predicament. Finding an A&P that knows these planes inside out is like finding a unicorn. Hope you can find one!

Just got mine in for Annual and am in a similar predicament. My mechanic found a LOT that he says needs TLC, would appreciate if you can direct me to these Service Manuals? I believe I have them just want to make sure I do and they are the right ones. Larry, or anyone are there folks on this list who could talk to him if he has questions he can't find the answers for?
