Honing it has nothing to do with the STC. You should hone the inside of the cylinder when replacing the “O” ring. This does not involve the STC

I guess that’s my next step. I’ll get the STC rebuild from alpha aviation.

Have you honed the MLG cylinder and changed the cup (Dot 5 fluid) or o-ring (5606 fluid) whichever seal you have.

I did that this morning. I had that oleo moving smoothly and freely, but after a flight, it was stuck high again.
