NC Tail Number character sizes

Depends on where they were, my plane had them on the wing and tail,

Good morning all, question regarding original "NC" markings, What size should the individual characters be and what is the spacing for the ones on the wings?

When I measured I found that approximately 20." x 13.25" with 3.25" spacing would fit in with what I have guesstimated from photos.
