they are going to the same point, the tension should be the same on both cables. make sure you check the tension with the elevator in neutral.

Regarding the elevator cable tension, is there a maximum allowable differential in the cable tension? Or, by design, is it okey as long as each cable is within spec….. Thanks, Lcm
