FWIW did you check the link to Hartmut's link for "fuel systems" and the info concerning reworking a fuel pump that has the info to obtain a full repair kit for about $50 from Then-Now-Auto. 2c

Kenneth, did you get the Tempest low pressure rebuilt pump? Do you recall the part number from Aircraft Spruce?

I got a rebuilt one from aircraft spruce not too many years ago. I expect that they still have them. cost $$$ though... pretty sure new ones are not too common, maybe nonexistant...
