Spring vs Donut MLG

Lynn was working on a 'Coupe when I was down there last summer.  I don't remember if it was an Alon or not.

Thanks Warren. I got an email from Vern the other day. He didn't mention 5644F when he was giving me info on gear.

Just talked to Vern he is now the owner of 5644F so he will have spring gear Ask Lynn if he has the Engineering study for Spring gear as I recall Forney did it. They do just bolt on.

My old Alon is on AIG salvage list And it sells today contact them to see where it goes Alon A2 5644F I hope Vern gets it. Is lynn working on his A 2 yet?   PS I love the Spring gear...

I have the good ole donuts on my MLG of my '46 415C.  Lynn Nelsen helped me install new windows in my plane last summer and he has spring MLG on the 'Coupe he's rebuilding.  I'm hoping Lynn will see this post and steer me to the right place.

Anyone know where I can get the spring set up?  Is it an STC?  If so, who has the STC?
