Ercoupe E Dual Fork Nose Gear Push Rod to Control Question was created by Derek Schwartz
I am starting the assembly of a model E. Does anyone have any pictures of the 415-52035 or nose gear push rod? I have what looks like a two piece. I have the front bearing/connection (GMM-3M-670 with nuts, spacers and washers) and the one that also goes on the control column. It's the push rod that I am confused about and nothing really gives me a breakdown of what it looks like. What I have is two threaded tubes...one end threads onto the bearing on the control column and then it would appear that a stud joins the second section and then it appears I need another stud to join the GMM part. I am really confused as to why this would not be one long piece and maybe I have the completely wrong push rod altogether. I do not want to spend $200 just to see if I have the right one or not. Does anyone have one they could show me?
