I believe Mike Busch recommends never letting the CHT get above 400 degrees in our small Continentals.

every plane might show a different temp, it will vary because of baffle fit, carb installed, ie stromberg or marvel, mag timing, lots of variables

Hello, I am curious what people with the c85 usually see on cylinder head temp? Both after run up and at cruise? I feel like my temp has been a little higher these days. Getting up to 450 after takeoff and will slowly drop back down to 380 at cruise.
