Most of those have been removed. I took mine off when I realized I was taxiing around with carb heat on, meaning unfiltered air was getting into the engine on the ground, where the air is more likely to be dirty. It’s easy to check, there’s an L shaped bracket between the throttle and carb heat.

I was reading the "Flight Manual" that has been developed by the members for the c models. It mentions that the throttle has a connection to the carb heat that will automatically apply carb heat at about 50% throttle. Is that accurate? I've noticed when I pull back to 2000 rpm, it runs a little rough for my taste. If the statement is true, I'm thinking it may be applying carb heat too soon and that is the cause. Any thoughts?
