I have settled on 7/16 spacers above the strut raising the tail to 76 and 1/2 inches. This gets the sill level. It is based on an article by Blll Coons. www.ercoupeparts.com/spacers.pdf

I just replaced the rubbers spacers on my Ercoupe, The sill is still not level even after I placed bushings on the piston above the strut/rubber donut assembly, raising the tail to 75 inches. Should I add more bushings to get it level? The front gear is a forked type (not as original). I read a post somewhere that said the forked type lifts the front by 1 1/2 inches.
