What do you mean the 337 comes with the material? Did they add the Ercoupe to the AML or did they send an example 337 from a previous approval?

The 337 comes with the material order.

Did you get a field approval for your Oratex wings? I would like to do this also so if I could get a copy of your 337 that would help me get my approval.

The ribs are not stitched. They are screwed. The tailing Edge is laced. The process is showed in the maintenance manual.

That information discribes application of the covering stoping at the trailing edge of the wing.
There, the material has to be stitched no matter what the material is. Current practices, where material is wrapped around the edges and anchored, this is current materials practice. That is what I have found, from restoriers that I have talked to so far.
I am not arguing, I am trying to clarify what others are doing.

CAM 18 is the repair and maint specs from the CAA days, it was superseded by AC 43.13. I have a copy in the files section of the Ercoupe Discussion Group on facebook
