Trim control on dash.

No STC needed. The trim tab and control can be installed per service memo 38. Of course you will also need an elevator with the proper trim tab for your horsepower. SK 4 is the kit with all parts except the elevator. Univair still list the kit or you could call Vernon and get used stuff. The parts in the kit are listed on Univair’s site and in the parts book page 7. This will not lose LSA and was considered a safety improvement.

I have a trim with the spring back by the rear stab and crank on the dash. It is inop condition. Does anyone have drawings as to how this once worked? Also is field approval required to switch to the cable trim with the handle handle on the pilot side? I don’t want to do anything to lose LSA status. Thx in advance.
