Make sure all the rod ends in the steering system are tight, the torque links are not worn and have play, and the nose wheel bearings are tight. those are the easy things to check.

Nose wheel shimmy after landing. was created by Dennis Newbury
I'm sure this has been discused a lot, but unable to find on the site.  I have a 1946 415c with a C85.  I have a new problem that just started today.  the Nose wheel shimmy's after landing.  I have 17 psi in the from nose wheel in case that makes a difference.  Mu Ercoupe shimmy's real bad and has not happened before today.  This shimmy happened on both of my landing today at different airports.  Has anyone have any ideas?  Fixes?  What to look for?

Thanks and look forward to you all helping me out.
