Snow birds flock together in Arizona

Each October, as snows begin to call in northern regions, winter escapees gather in Arizona. The West Valley Flying Club operates throughout the winter with breakfast gatherings each Wednesday at the Terminal Restaurant at Glendale Airport west of Phoenix. Saturday fly-outs throughout the region (usually including an Air show or meal) are scheduled on alternate Saturdays.
Over 135 members, many of whom bring their aircraft, assure that the "wingless" members can ride along. At present Ercoupes from Idaho, California (2), Oregon, and Arizona participate. All flyers are welcome to join in these activities.....www.westvalleyflyingclub.org
