Mountain View 2025!!

One thing I forgot to mention - this could be the last fly-in I’ll host at 7M2. If you’ve always wanted to attend but haven’t made it yet, try to make this one! You won’t be disappointed.

I’m happy to announce the Mountain View 2025 Fly-In will be held June 5-8, 2025, at Mountain View, Arkansas, Wilcox Memorial Field 7M2. 

Registration information will be in the February Coupe Capers. 

This year we have a block of rooms blocked at the Cabins at Dry Creek in the Ozark Folk Center State Park. These are newly remodeled rooms in a beautiful location. 

Arrivals on Thursday with a group dinner on your own for those who choose to arrive early. Friday features a short flight to Walnut Ridge to visit the Wings of Honor Museum, then back to Mountain View for a light lunch on the field. Friday evening is our traditional Randy Feldpouch memorial pizza and homemade ice cream party at the field. We might even get out the old banjo and guitar.

Saturday features a big breakfast at the airport, open to the public. Soon after is a briefing for a lunch flight to Gaston’s, a famous resort with a nice grass strip. That evening features dinner at an event location on the courthouse square followed by a presentation then some picking and grinning and maybe even some cloggers! I’ve got some of the best musicians lined up! When our festivities wrap up you can cross the street and enjoy the variety of live music played all around the square late into the night!

Sunday morning is coffee, juice and cinnamon rolls at the airport before departures. 

We will lower fuel price $0.30 during the event. Tank up!

Registration fee will be $65. For that small amount you get:

Pizza and ice cream Friday
Breakfast Saturday
Dinner Saturday with entertainment 
Light breakfast Sunday
