About halfway down the Outer Banks of North Carolina you'll find Ocracoke Island. There is a little strip there (W95) that consists of a runway and a port-a-potty. Howard's Pub is a seafood restaurant on the island and they monitor 122.9, the CTAF for the airport. They will send their "limousine" to pick you up - a 6-passenger golf cart. The seafood is terrific and the people are friendly. I recommend it! It's a perfect way to break up a flight down the Outer Banks. We flew from Kitty Hawk to Beaufort with a stop at Ocracoke Island. Very pretty and good eats.
