Currently working on that, it will be a temporary mount. Possible via suction cup or clamp off the windshield center pillar, or a mount over the left glove box.
I need to play around with it as there isn't much clearance between the yokes and the glove box doors.

Just thought I would share the progress on my panel upgrade. My goal has been to update the panel (old panel pic attached) with some modern capabilities while returning to the original look, (round gauges, with glove boxes, vertical trim panels, and grey color with maroon trim). Also I wanted to remove anything which hung below the panel to maximize knee room.
To me the best avenue was using AV-30's a TailbeaconX, and a round Com radio. This way I could pull out the vacuum system and all the boxes hanging under my panel.
Attached is a picture of the completed panel lay-out using a piece of plastic (which is also used to help build the harnesses). A new Univair blank panel is now being CNC'd.
Some of the key panel aspects are;
AV-30 #1 (AI)- wired to temp probe, TailbeaconX, and AV-Mag.
AV-30 #2 (DG)- wired to the AV-Mag, and to a Garmin Aero 760
TailbeaconX- easy install as I was replacing my old Tailbeacon. Only required a little trimming.
AV-Mag- we ended up placing it in the tail on the side of the fuselage. This was easier than the wing tip and the wing root had too much metallic stuff around.
Temp Probe (Davitron)- fit right into the hole where my vacuum venturi used to be.
I've also added two AV-Link's such that traffic can be displayed and software updates will be easier.
Com Radio- I'm trying the TQ KRT2 (2 1/4" round) com. Really nice quality and compact with built-in intercom. These are rare in the US but are common in Europe (especially in Germany and also in gliders).
Other- I've upgraded to a 406 ELT and put the remote switch on the panel. Also added USB charger and a CO detector. I've installed the new light starter and will use a modern key start.

As of today - An AV30 is approved for primary AI & Slip when set to AI mode only. An AV30 is approved for primary DG when set to DG mode only. It is not approved as a primary for any other instrument. But does give a lot more instrument data as secondary. Such as: it gives AS, but you need to keep your primary ASI installed, it gives Altitude but you need to keep your altitude indicator install, etc…. It is not approved as primary if you leave it in the setting of being able to toggle it between AI and DG mode. Of course the original Ercoupe did not have an attitude or DG indicator. So you could just have a single AV30. But best practice, just have two. One set up for AI indicators. And the second one set up as a DG under the AI. As of right now I have removed 12lbs of vacuum system, instruments and wiring. Mine is originally 415-C. With many mods over the years. I am an A&P/ IA and PPL, with 45 yrs of experience. But like everyone, always learning something new.

The AV30 & the G5 are not certified as a primary flight display which is ok for VFR only.
