My '67 5644F coming out of Dallas I filled the wing tanks first then the header. On lift off I remember the fuel spraying out of the wing tank vent on both sides. So I assumed Alon's all had vented Cap. I stand corrected. Thank for that info.

My Alon wing tanks have un-vented caps, only the header tank cap is vented.

That said The Alon wing tanks are vented caps with the kits to prevent Siphoning. (Is that spelled correctly?) Then the Alon were redesign for the Alon.

That surprises me, Matt! E's used unvented cap both tanks being overflow lines from the header and vented with the header tank Cap. As is the F1 I have out back.
