First Flight after Restoration!

After most of a year spent going through everything mechanical and electrical, Intrepid Aviator Ted flew this repositioning flight to my new hangar as I drove not-quite furiously so that I could film the takeoff and landing.

 

It was a red-letter day for classic aviation. While preflighting the Coupe, the owner of this gorgeous, 100% original 1932 Taylor E-2 Cub took a break from his touch-and-goes to offer me a ride!
