Just based on what I've seen in the market (and having bought my plane about a year ago), I'd say you'd be very likely to get $30-35k, so I'll just pick $32k for the shiggles. I think the only thing that is a ding on your setup is the TSMOH, otherwise you might be in the upper 30's. Just my opinion and a wild guess.
For reference, when I bought mine in Oct 2023 (a 1946 415c LSA, no rudder pedals) it was around 925 SMOH, recovered wings in 2017, only steam guages, no transponder (or ADSB), original small baggage compartment, and not what I'd call 'pretty', and I paid $22k (and have already put more than that into it)

AOPA doesn’t provide the service anymore and vref.com wants money. I’m not quite there yet.

Sorry to see that Larry, the emotional value of all the great memories is incalculable. Have you checked for any website like vref.com/ that can do valuations as a starting point?

Sometime in the next several months I will more than likely put N99340 up for sale.
I’m not sure what it’s worth. Times are rough estimate, my logs are in the hangar. Some info:
It’s a 415C, S/N 1963
TT close to 4000, I put more then half those on it
Engine overhauled in 2006, 1700 SMOH, but 1600 or so on the bottom end. Oil pressure excellent, burns 1 quart every 10-12 hours. Compressions 76-78-78-78. Has the O-200 crankshaft STC, swings a 71-49. I get 1100+ fpm alone and 400 fully loaded, full fuel, hot day.
Garmin aera 660 in dock in panel, wired to an SL40 comm radio (loads waypoint frequencies into radio from GPS), and intercom. Garmin GDL39 ADS-B in provides weather and traffic via Bluetooth. KT76A transponder and uAvionix tailBeacon for ADS-B out.
Wings recovered and cowl rebuilt in 2013.
Airtex seat and carpet installed 2005.
There is a 337 for installation of a 6-gallon header tank, but it leaked and replaced it with a 5-gallon riveted tank.
Large baggage compartment.
I have flown this airplane for 1800 hours. Worst things I had to deal with were a failed fuel pump and a couple of stuck valves, all in the past. I have changed the oil every 25 hours since the overhaul with a couple of exceptions where it was maybe 10 hours late. I added Avblend every oil change.
Logs since the 50s.
I love this airplane. I’ve seen a lot of America from the left seat. As I get older my flight hours are diminishing and the airplane deserves better. And as I’ve posted before I’m barely able to afford it. it’s not actually for sale at this point, but unless something changes it becoming inevitable.
What is a reasonable price?
