The new Aeromatics are not TSOd or PMAd or whatever alphabet soup is required.

any action with regard to Aeromatic Props was just made a lot more difficult. Kent Tarver, the owner of Aeromatic, has died. He was in his early 90's. The latest development with regard to the useability of the Aeromatic is that the FAA will not allow certification of the prop on a certificated airplane. Homebuilts only. I don't know if this effects the Ercoupe or not, as many left the factory with the Aeromatic installed as did Stinson, Monocoupe, Luscombe and others.
I plan to look into this as time allows, but I am not giving up.

no, they have not been made in many years. They still turn up from time to time. I saw a coupe project for sale not long ago that had a Beech prop on it.

not odd, too many IAs don't know how to read a type certificate, there are 2 controllable pitch props approved for the Coupe, Koppers Aeromatic F200 hub and the Beech R002 or R003 per TCDS A-787
and Koppers Aeromatic F200 hub, - Two-position controllable, Sensenich C2FB, ground adjustable, Hartzell, hub HA12UO or HA12UF per TCDS A-718

That’s odd. I think it’s listed in A-718. I could be wrong. But I’ve seen a couple of installations.
