one problem with a car trailer is the gear span on the Coupe is wider than the cars, and they will not usually fit. One trick that helps is to swap the lower legs so the wheels face inward instead of outward.

Transporting a Ercoupe by trailer was created by Frank Freda
Hello guys looking to buy a currently licensed Ercoupe and avoid the problems and high costs of fairing / transporting the coupe, should it be some distance. What i may do is remove the wings and trailer the fuselogde and wings on the same open flatbed car trailer which i have. Any tips on doing this as far as tieing down the fuelodge and packaging the soft wings for transport on the same trailer ? Email is the best way to communicate.
