Its their product. All these products have some sort designator like a mil-spec. They will know what it was, and what product has either replaced it or is appropriate for substitution.

Does anyone out there in Ercoupe Land know where I can obtain some 3M type type EC 570 glue?  It  is part of the reassembly for the nose gear oil seal...  I got a rebuild kit from Vernon but this item slipped by me and I am sure there must be another glue/cement/Permatex, etc  to use in place of a 50 year old glue...  Thanks in advance for your help...
