After you have the CD, get a pre-buy inspections on records only. Present your findings to the owner and set up a physical pre-buy by an IA; depending on what the paperwork portion reveals. A good IA can take his pre-buy and for not a whole lot more, turn it into an annual.

Wow, I grew up in Port Richey. The FAA Data CD for the plane should arrive sometime next week. After I have that, I'll reach out to you.
Thank you so much for the kind offer. Any help and experience with this would be awesome. Dan

I'm near Inverness in New port richey. I recently bought a 46 out of crystal river with really sparse paperwork. I spent months tracking down documents and rifling through the faa records to recreate all the ad's from 46. Now I have an overflowing 1 1/2" binder full of documentation. Currently not an a and p but testing soon, real world documentation expert. If you want help, I'll do whatever I can and try to save you some time. On the other topic, don't use the IA from crystal river, I spent months fixing some of his stuff.
