Trailing link gear

The thing with S steel is toe in and toe out shimming.

Forney did the workup for the spring steel gear. I have a set here from an M10 Moony. The M10 owner went back to the trailing gear! '66 A2 has spring Steel gear my '67 had them. I loved them. I am thinking Alon started sell both in '66 but with a little filing spring gear bolted up to my 415E.

there were only 2 changes, early pre-way coupes had gear that was welded up from tubing and mounted on the front of the spar, the post war coupes had the cast aluminum upper and lower legs and mounted on the rear of the spar.

Does anyone know the serial number where the trailing link gear was changed?
