Better mousetrap. I love the redundancy of the fuel pump and header tank combination.
Reacting to my earlier post ..I am thinking I will use my OEM fuel pump on my newly overhauled C-85. And I plan to use a 10-4240-01 Marvel-Shebler compliment with the STC for it's use.
Asking for comments fom others who have done this previously.

I don't think the C-90 has an option for a cam driven fuel pump, but I may be wrong. The ones I've seen had the electric pump. Since the pump on an Ercoupe does NOT feed the carburetor but just fills the cowl tank, it's not as critical as on other aircraft. I actually saw one 415C where the cowl tank was removed and it was plumbed with an electric pump to supply fuel from the wings directly to the carburetor. This plane had several off airport landings, and they could never maintain correct fuel pressure. They ended up reinstalling a cowl tank,

Thanks Larry. I looked at the AlphaAviation electric pump.
It is very likeable. Especially against a new $850 replacement pump.
By accident I have a friends Alon A2 aircoupe in my hanger. Looking at it the panel the Alon seems to have an electric fuel pump with a switch. I will have to ask my friend about it.

Ok..
The magneto's and harnesses were stock with the C-75 before the rebuild.
One had a rebuild and 500 hour inspection about 24 months ago.
The other is due. Both worked fine prior to the engine rebuild.
I will have to get you the dataplate information and logbook information.
I have your email.
