I am using both my ipad and my smartphone as a backup. Have to place them both on my knees so I have the same problem of having to glance down then back up. I'd be interested also in hearing from anybody who's found a good solution.

I had purchased an I pad (regular size ) and am using Fore Flight for my navigation.
I am using a kneepad made for the I Pad but find it to be less than ideal, perhaps
the distance from my eyes, or having to look down , not entirely sure. My question is: for those of you using
the same system have you been able to successfully mount the I Pad on the control
wheel or on the panel thus putting it closer to your line of site. I'd be interested in
others experiences in mounting and using the I Pad. Thank you.
