Nose Gear Fairing is called what?

I guessed that snubber cables can be safely removed with or without the fairing, but it makes sense to me to add it back since it was that way originally. It must have a reason. I am checking if I can find a good used one before I buy one of them for full bore prices.

I found the answer. They are around $100 and Univair has them. I am going to check with Vern 1st.

ERCOUPE NUTCRACKER FAIRING

I'm by no means an expert (I learn something new every time I go to an Ercoupe gathering), but I know the fairng isn't required to get rid of the snubber cable.  Mine had the cable and it was removed (still own it if someone wants it) and the "fairings" have long since been removed on my plane.

I forgot to add that there is a ERCOUPE LOWER SCISSOR LINK and an UPPER LINK also involved. They are way more expensive than the NUTCRACKER FAIRING is.
Are these three items needed if all I want to do is get rid of the snubber cable? IOW do I need the faring at all?

I was looking for a fairing that attaches to the nose gear strut.
Is it called a "415-34020 ERCOUPE NUTCRACKER FAIRING"?
