AD’s Not Complied with

you can bring it up to them, but it won't do any good. fix it and move on. There are ADs that have several different inspections and times in the same AD, yet I find them signed off as complied with. What was complied with ? the annual inspection, the 100hr due time, or the 7 year ?

Question for the group.

My mechanic found an AD that was clearly not complied with per the specifications set forth in the AD verbiage.  

Is it best to let sleeping dogs lie or bring it up to the last two mechanics that signed it off incorrectly?

for those who may be wondering; the AD covered the two brackets that attach and support the gascolator with a specific part number required.
